Company Background
LifeScience Partner (LSP), including Health MR, is a marketing business that includes as one of its services, creation and facilitation of online studies for market research purposes. Our study sites provide participants with the opportunity to express their opinions and experiences about a range of issues. Our studies include primarily healthcare professionals and patients from all walks of life and we provide the aggregated results of our research (which is stripped of any personally identifiable information) to our clients, mainly in the pharmaceutical industry.
The directors and study moderators of LSP are members of the Australian Market & Social Research Society and abide by the Society’s Code of Professional Behaviour. LifeScience Partners is also an associate member of the Australian Pharmaceutical Market Research Group.
Information we collect
During the registration process for our studies, we require individuals to provide us with contact information (e.g. email address) and demographic information (e.g. birth date, gender). We also ask participants to establish a username and password to access our study sites. Once you become a participant of one of our studies, you agree to receive communications from LSP regarding activity invitations and other study related news/alerts. LSP does not send unsolicited commercial emails.
All of the information collected in our studies is strictly for market research purposes. If you have joined one of our online studies, we collect the information you share in the study and aggregate responses to report the results to our clients.
Sharing Information
LSP does not sell personally identifiable information. We use the information you provide to us for internal purposes and share it only for the limited purposes described here. In order to provide you with the services on our sites, we may need to share your information with third parties, our agents, who perform services on our behalf, such as merchandise (e.g. gift cards) fulfillment, web hosting, and the like. They may also collect information on our behalf. Any personal information collected by a third party website is in accordance to this privacy policy.
LSP study websites may contain links to information on other websites. We do not have any control over these other websites, and therefore we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information that you provide while visiting those sites. Those sites are not governed by this privacy policy, and if you have questions about how a site uses your information, consult that site's privacy statement.
Research Observers
From time to time, observers from our clients' organisations may observe the study using a special access role that allows them to view the study activity. All observers are bound to the same privacy policies and terms and conditions outlined herein, and are therefore required to not share data beyond the scope of this study. Observers do not have access to personal information you provide during the sign-up (entering) process.
Cookies & Stored Information
We may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies on our site, in our products and in e-mail messages that we send to you. These technologies identify your computer and record your preferences and other data about your visit to our study site. We may link these preferences and other data to personal information about you. If we do, we will treat the combined or linked information as personal information under this policy.
Accessing Information
It is important for our study participants to be able to correct and access the information they provide in our study sites. You may access and modify your account information through this study site at any time. We may also display results of surveys and reports on the study sites. The results that we post are confidential and for study members only. Please do not disclose these results to anyone outside this study.
Opt-Out Policy
Participation in our studies is voluntary. If at any point you decide that you no longer wish to be a participant, you may send an email request to info@lifesciencepartners.com.au with the with the word 'unsubscribe'.
Safety & Security
The security of personal information is important to us at LSP. We employ standard technology and internal processes to protect the information our participants release to us. Additionally, only select, authorised employees have access to process the data collected and maintain the database and study that stores participant contact information.
Notification of Change
We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected. If we are going to use users' personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify users via email and request their permission. If users have opted out of all communication with the site, or deleted/deactivated their account, then they will not be contacted, nor will their personal information be used in this new manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our website notifying users of the change. In some cases where we post a notice we will also email users who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.
